Cindy Lin is a Taiwanese American still life and lifestyle photographer based in Paris.
Cindy's personal work focuses on issues of identity, specifically on immigration and women's issues, expressed through still life and objects in studio settings. Her lifestyle work focuses on the intimate relationships between people and their environments.
Cindy works in both digital and analog, specifically in medium and large formats. In her spare time, she shoots mostly black and white films and processes them herself in her small, windowless bathroom in Paris.
Prior to becoming a photographer, Cindy worked as a home stager in San Francisco Bay Area for 12+ years. She still teaches styling and business practices internationally through her company Staged4more. As a home stager, Cindy had been published in Wall Street Journal, CBS News, San Francisco Chronicle and many notable press outlets. Her previous styling and home staging work can be viewed here: styling, event design, home staging, visual.
Cindy is living in Paris at the moment, but also calls Taipei and San Francisco home. She loves to travel, especially to cities where she is working in.
